Weapons and Equipment: The Psycho Geno Saurer is well-equipped for both ranged and melee combat. The scythe-like talons on its forelimbs can be launched on cables like grappling hooks to snare, drag or fling opponents, and the serrated teeth inside its heavy jaws can crush all but the strongest armor. It carries twin long-range pulse laser rifles on its back, capable of 90 degrees of up-and-down movement and a full 360 degrees rotation, while the smaller "nose guns" on its head, just forward of the distinctive back-slanting crest, can cover short- to mid-range targets. Eight-shot missile pods, one mounted on each hip, round out its conventional ranged weaponry.
Its signature weapon, however, is the charged particle cannon in its mouth, exclusive to the Empire's range of tyrannosaurus-type Zoids. Only the heaviest of armor is capable of withstanding a direct hit, and even then it's only a matter of time before the beam melts its way through. The cannon's power is balanced by the fact that the Geno must be completely immobilized in order to use it: locking down with the stablizers on each heel, straightening its body and opening the vents on its tail. Furthermore, it takes time for the weapon to charge, and there's a brief cool-down period after each firing before it can be used again.
While not as fast or maneuverable as its fellow tyrannosaurus-type, the Berserk Fury, the Geno can move at a respectable clip, aided by a set of ankle-mounted boosters, and is well-armored for its size and speed.

Personality, history, random stuff:
The Geno began its life as a clone of the Death Saurer, part of Prime Minister Prozen's scheme to RULE ZA WARUDO. After being given to Ryss, the Geno was modified by her Organoid partner Specula, granting it its blue color and angular backswept crest. Ryss used the Geno to fight Van Flyheight to a standstill - and then abruptly left before dealing the killing blow. Shortly afterward, the Geno was destroyed by Hiltz's Death Stinger.
...until it, like Ryss, was transported to an island located between dimensions, where it proceeded to hate everything and everyone that was not Ryss or Specula. Its hatred lapsed into sullen despair once the pair were sent home without it, and it languished in the island's hangar for a few weeks until one Jamie Hemeros discovered it. Deprived of caring for his own Zoid, the Raynos, Jamie found himself feeling sorry for the abandoned Geno Saurer and decided to take care of it in the absence of its true pilot. He eventually grew to think of the Geno as his own; the Geno itself confirmed this, naming him as its Pilot when it, along with all the other mechs on the island, temporarily gained sentience. (And the ability to sing. Don't ask.)
Now just a regular, non-sentient Zoid once more, the Geno's personality is much less pronounced, though not altogether absent. It's exceedingly bloodthirsty and violent, for starters. All Zoids love to fight, but Genos love to dominate, tearing apart their victims opponents until there's nothing left. Although it hates indiscriminately, it's not necessarily a psychotic Zoid - its battle-lust is of a somewhat more calculating nature.
Due to the tampering inflicted on it by Specula, the Geno has something like very crude, low-level telepathy: it seems like it's just barely aware of those around it, and anyone coming near it will get the distinct impression that someone is watching them. That's the extent of this so-called power, however. The ability to vaguely creep people out.
Jamie refers to the Geno with feminine pronouns because it spoke with a female voice during its brief fit of sentience. He's aware that it technically has no gender, but his attachment to it is such that he feels compelled, on a much more subconscious level, to anthropomorphize it thus.
Finally, although it's short for genocide, the first word of its name is, in anime canon, pronounced with a long e.
